A wholesome traditional sweet made with roasted sesame seeds and peanuts bound with jaggery, offering a rich, nutty, and comforting taste.
White sesame seeds (til) β 1 cup
Peanuts β Β½ cup (coarsely crushed)
Jaggery (gur) β 1 cup, grated
Ghee β 2 tsp
Cardamom powder β ΒΌ tsp
1. Crush the peanuts coarsely using a grinder or mortar and pestle.
2. Dry roast the sesame seeds on a low flame until light golden and aromatic.
3. Melt the grated jaggery using the double boiler method until smooth and mix well.
4. Take a bowl and add the roasted sesame seeds and crushed peanuts.
5. Add the cardamom powder and melted jaggery to the bowl.
6. Mix all the ingredients well.
7. Add the ghee at the end and mix again.
8. Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a ladoo.
